Baxter is pleased to sponsor the AlphaTest^® Kit, which makes sampling of patients and shipping of blood easy. Simply perform a finger prick and collect blood on a special filter paper provided with the kit. Mail it to the Alpha1Center within three days. Test results will be returned within two weeks.

ARALAST [Alpha₁-Proteinase Inhibitor (Human)] is indicated for chronic augmentation therapy in patients having congenital deficiency of A₁-PI with clinically evident emphysema. ARALAST is not indicated as therapy for lung disease patients in whom congenital A₁-PI deficiency has not been established.
